Jeans for Genes Day 2009 in Second Life®

Its Jeans for Genes Day! All over Britain, people are putting on their jeans and raising money. You can help too, Second Life! Ir all starts at 5pm UK / 9am SLT. Join us!

We are now thrilled to be able to reveal more details of what's going to happen on Friday, October the 2nd when we hope you'll join us inworld for a packed bill of music, denim fashion and other activities, including an exclusive Second Life debut for headlining indie rock band The Mighty Roars, who bring their exciting brand of pop-punk inworld prior to the release of their second album on One Little Indian records.

Oh, and remember it's in a good cause, so remember to dig into those pockets. There will be donation buckets everywhere, as well as vendors selling exclusive denim fashions and Jeans for Genes merchandise. The concert itself will have a modest ticket charge. All proceeds go to the charity. No one else makes a penny from what is taken.
