
Sony 1 to 1 initiative
Establishing the Internet as the strategic platform for the development of long
term relationships with customers and partners
Our role was to develop and implement pan-European digital brand and guidelines
to establish Sony’s online presence, working in concert with their above and
below the line agencies and systems integrators.
The work involved multilingual website interface design, in eight European languages.
Focus was on the user’s brand experience, usability considerations, information
architecture and technical integration. The site went through three separate iterations
as we helped evolve Sony's brand and brand experience over a four year period.
Involved BroadVision personlisation implementation working alongside a leading Systems
Integrator.
Site structure was eventually rolled out to 250 dealer extranets and to 13 countries
with more than 25% of pan European orders arriving via the site.
Results also include 65,000 registered users to the site, with targeted email campaigns
increasing registrations by 45%.
We also worked on other projects, including the design and build of MMS, a complex
asset management system, as well as many campaign microsites.
